Added

Compose screens for LinkedIn, X link-in-reply, and a queue board

LinkedIn mentions, repost with commentary and PDF carousels now have controls in Compose, not only in the API. On X you can put the link in a reply under your post instead of the post itself. The queue also has a board view where you drag notes between planned and scheduled.

Auto-repost your own posts

Turn on auto-repost in Compose or on a queue card and NoteSurge reposts your post on X, Bluesky, Mastodon, Threads or LinkedIn later, optionally only once it reaches a level of engagement. Each repost shows in the activity log.

Not yet tried against live accounts.

Plan notes in bulk, and a fuller public API

Select notes in Queue or Drafts to tag, untag, pin, unpin or plan them in one go, and Compose has a Plan panel. Planned notes never publish on their own. The public API now covers drafts, tags, queue scheduling, media and comments, with an OpenAPI document and SDK 0.2.0.

Send Notey voice notes on Telegram, and set a monthly spend cap

Voice notes sent to Notey on Telegram are transcribed and answered like text, with spoken replies as an option (off by default). A new Spend card in the AI tab shows this month’s usage and lets you cap what runs on your own key.

Pair a chat with a one-time code, and a health check in your digest

Settings can now pair a Telegram, Discord, Slack, WhatsApp or iMessage chat with Notey using a one-time code, list the paired chats and unpair them. The daily digest also reports anything that has stopped running or is stuck, on every channel you get it on.

Connect Notey to other AI apps with a sign-in

AI apps that support remote MCP can now connect to NoteSurge by signing in and approving access, with no token to copy. Tokens can be limited to analytics, one area or one platform, can expire, and Settings lists the apps you have authorized with a Disconnect button. MCP clients also get NoteSurge resources and prompts, and every API capability is now available over MCP.

Weekly review and niche brief standing tasks, and a starter skill pack

Two new standing tasks save a Library piece on a schedule: a weekly review of how your posts did, and a brief on what accounts in your niche are posting. Neither publishes anything. A starter pack of skills is available to install.

Ask questions of your own posting data, and an automatic performance report

Analytics has a read-only query console over your own posts, notes, follower and subscriber history and link clicks, and Notey can use it too. A performance report builds itself from the same data as Markdown, a web page or a PDF, and a link check finds dead links in what you have published.

Export PNG, and podcast versions of Library pieces

Export PNG sits beside Export PDF on Library cards and newsletter drafts and saves branded images, one per page for long pieces. Make a podcast version turns a post, thread or newsletter into a one or two voice episode.

Podcasts need a text-to-speech service set up, and the menu says so before anything is spent.

Research handles on X, Ghost and Hashnode

The Research tab can now look up accounts on X (using your own connected X account), Ghost sites and Hashnode blogs, alongside the platforms it already covered.

Ghost feeds carry no engagement numbers, so those read as 0.

Margin notes on drafts and quoted lines

Margin notes now work on queued notes and newsletter drafts as well as Library pieces, and can point at a quoted line. If that line is later edited away, the note says so.

Transcribe YouTube videos that have no captions

When a video has no captions, Transcribe can fetch its audio and transcribe that instead, and tells you why if it cannot (private video, too long, or a worker error).

Not live yet: it needs the audio worker to be hosted. Until then the card says audio fetching is not set up and points you to Upload.

Changed

Publishing you can trust when something goes wrong

A note that missed its time by too long is now held instead of going out late, and the queue offers to reschedule the overdue ones. You choose how late is too late (6, 12 or 24 hours). Failed notes get a recovery panel that says what went wrong and lets you retry, and a banner warns you when a connected account needs signing in again before a post fails on it.

Notey replies as it types, remembers better, and warns about duplicates

Notey’s answers now stream in as they are written, in the app and in Telegram. Long conversations are summarised instead of cut off, and a model that keeps failing is skipped for a while rather than retried every time. You can tell Notey to forget something it remembered, and scheduling a note that is nearly the same as one already queued asks first.

A new look, and tidier screens

A new display typeface, a 12px minimum text size, one button style, flat borders, a neutral dark theme, and the app now follows your system light or dark setting by default. Warnings are merged into one Needs attention notice, each section has a proper title, and tap targets are bigger.

A reworked landing page

The front page has a how-it-works section, a comparison table, animated previews, a sticky sign-up button on phones, and a navigation bar that no longer runs into the logo on mid-size screens.

Fixed

A smoother first run

Every Connect a platform button now opens the Platforms section of Settings, the nudge for accounts with nothing connected shows again, and a failed connection returns you to the platform list with the reason. Compose picks your only connected platform for you and explains when Add to queue is unavailable.
