You connect the channels you use, so what you can publish to depends on what you link. The platforms page lists everything NoteSurge can publish to, grouped by type. Some channels need setup on their own side first, such as a bot token, an app password, an API key or a developer app of your own.
Who owns my data?
You do. Your library, drafts and scheduled posts are stored in your account, encrypted in transit and at rest by our infrastructure providers, and connection credentials are encrypted. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. The privacy policy has the full detail.
Can I use it without Substack?
Yes. Substack is one channel among many. You can connect any channel on the platforms page, and the library, Compose, the queue and Notey work the same way whichever ones you pick.
What is Notey?
Notey is the agent built into NoteSurge. It writes in your voice, sees the same library and queue you do, and can draft, schedule and run recurring tasks. You can reach it in the web app, Telegram, Discord, Slack and WhatsApp, and through the REST API and MCP. iMessage is coming soon.
Is there an API?
